Other Procedures

We perform a variety of procedures for our patients.

Sometimes, we perform unique surgical operations given the patient's condition and desire for eye vision improvement. Most other procedures include various eye correction measures such as contact lens prescription and installation, administration of intraocular pressure medications, and routine eye check ups.

Monovision is a popular procedure. As our eyes age, their ability to switch focus between close and far objects diminishes. The condition, known as presbyopia, or old eyes, is often corrected through monovision. Monovision is a technique in which one eye (usually the dominant eye) is corrected for clear distance vision, and the other eye is corrected for comfortable near vision. Monovision allows a person to see close objects clearly with one eye and distance objects clearly with the other eye.
