Our services encompass a wide range of surgical and non-surgical procedures. Refractive surgery procedures are designed to eliminate or reduce the need for glasses or contact lenses by changing the focus of the eye.
Laser-based procedures such as LASIK and PRK do this by reshaping the curve of the cornea (the clear front window of the eye) to move the point at which light is focused onto the retina.
Implant procedures such as Intrastromal Corneal Ring Segments (INTACS) and Phakic Intraocular Lenses (Phakic IOLs) place an artificial lens inside the eye to more accurately focus light onto the retina. Phakic IOLs uses the successful cataract surgery techniques to address the vision restoration needs of people with high degrees of myopia or hyperopia and need correction for refractive errors that exceeds the safe range of excimer laser procedures such as LASIK.
Glaucoma treatment procedures such as Selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) relieve intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma by draining out excessive eye fluids.
Other techniques include accommodative and multifocal artificial lenses (IOLs), Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), monovision for people with presbyopia. We also help patients with glasses and contact lenses as well as various prescription eye solutions.
